Luxury living finds at Epic Home Decor in Lakewood Ranch
J Matthews Design Studio, Interior designer, Southwest Florida, 20 years of experience.
Epic Home Decor is a home furnishings and decor store in Lakewood Ranch, owned by Diane Creasy, at 10671 Boardwalk Loop in the Main Street area. It carries furniture, lamps, rugs, mirrors, wall decor, pillows, and custom draperies, along with design services. I shop there for my own clients, and it is one of the first places I look when a room needs a piece with real character.
If you are furnishing a home around Lakewood Ranch and want pieces you will not see in every other house, it is worth a stop. Diane buys the way a designer does, with an eye for how a piece will live in a room rather than just how it looks on a showroom floor, so the selection is genuinely curated, not just stocked.
Who is Diane Creasy?
Diane Creasy owns and runs Epic Home Decor, and she does the sourcing herself. She travels to the furniture markets, brings pieces in a smaller batch at a time rather than all at once, and turns the floor over often, so there is usually something new to see. For a homeowner, that hands-on approach takes a lot of the guesswork out of furnishing a room. Stop in and you may be greeted by her dogs, who are part of the store’s easy, welcoming feel.
What will you find there?
The selection covers most of what a room needs:
Furniture, from sofas and chairs to accent tables, consoles, and media cabinets.
Lamps and lighting.
Rugs, including custom orders.
Mirrors, wall decor, pillows, and gifts.
Custom draperies and other window treatments.
Why I shop there for clients
Turnkey design, the full-service work I do from concept through installation, depends on knowing where to find the right pieces. After 20 years designing homes across Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and the Lakewood Ranch area, I have learned that a good local resource saves a project both time and money. When I am pulling a room together for a Lakewood Ranch client, Epic Home Decor is one of the first places I look. I can see and touch a piece before it goes into a home, Diane and I work well together, and the money stays closer to home than a national catalog keeps it.
